Well, howdy! I'm starting this blog because all I think about is food. Even though I work in agriculture and grow food all day long, I'm still not done thinking about it when I get home. I aboslutely love to cook. And I like to think that my Southern roots make me a good cook by default. I sure hope I'm right. Wish me luck!

- Born and raised in the South, I didn't realize how good I had it at the table until I moved to northern California. I miss the food terribly, but I recreate it in my home. I hope to share with y'all the amazing food I grew up with. It'll be a mix of Tex-Mex, Czech food, and true-blue Southern food. Enjoy!
